Paris-Christmas couple escape

'Toi, moi et Paris'

Paris is like a trip to a fairytale world, it remains full of secrets but when these enchanting treasures are revealed, you experience something magical and undoubtedly memorable. ''La Ville-Lumière" would be the perfect romantic couple escape, that would offer you incomparable moments of Christmas romance .
For a taste of elegance and great value for money, I would definitely stay in St Thomas d'Aquin hotel in the heart of Saint Germain des Prés. It is an 18th century building which has been a hotel for over a century, the beauty of it is that it combines contemporary touches without loosing its respect for the old design.

My perfect morning would start with a romantic promenade on Bateaux-Mouches (Paris sightseeing cruise on the river Seine) where you can view the picturesque sights and discover the love story of Paris, while eating some deliciously colorful macarons from La durée .Once experienced this why not walk along the lovely Christmas Market on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées to treat ourselves with mulled wine and gingerbread while heading towards Avenue Montaigne which is the fashion boulevard of Paris. There, as a fashion lover one can discover top designers such as Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton among many more..

After this we would enjoy a lunch break, Les Deux Magots Café is one of the most famous cafés in Paris and definitely a literary café or Maxims being as well a prestigious cafe known for its refined french cooking. After enjoying a fabulous lunch a la chic, it would be nice going ice skating to the Hôtel de Ville. As a fan of french patisserie I would definitely go to the Hotel Crillon in the Winter Garden to enjoy delicate teas and patisseries at teatime(it is said that it is one of the most romantic spots at the Crillon) or chez Fauchon and Hédiard to taste some of the finest chocolates and gourmet café, perfect after a swing with the ice skating.

After such a lovely day it would be nice to go back to the hotel and rest before start getting ready for the evening plans..

Prunier restaurant is not only remarkable for its exquisite seafood but for its Art Deco as well. After a lovely dinner at Prunier we would indulge a glass of champagne at Lido , the famous French cabaret located in the Champs Elysee. Lido will definitely add an ultimate touch to the magical parisian chic evening..
